APINDO Conducted Field Review of GAS KIPAS Strengthen Collective Action Against Stunting

APINDO conducted a field visit to review the Gerakan Anak Sehat – Kolaborasi Inklusif Pengusaha Indonesia Atasi Stunting (GAS KIPAS) program across nine Posyandu under the Kayu Manis and Kencana Community Health Centers in Bogor on Saturday, 15 November 2025.

APINDO Chairwoman Shinta W. Kamdani attended the visit; Head of the GAS KIPAS Stunting Program, Prof. Hardinsyah; APINDO’s Head of Community Development for SDGs, Indrayana JAP; APINDO Coordinator and Liaison Partner, Anggana Bunawan; as well as representatives from the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO).

During the visit, Shinta and the delegation inspected multiple Posyandu posts, engaged in conversations with mothers of infants and toddlers, and observed operations in several Posyandu nutrition kitchens.

In her remarks, Shinta emphasized that stunting continues to require strong, collective attention from all stakeholders, noting that the first 1,000 days of life are a critical window that determines the future quality of human capital.

She further reiterated that, in line with the directives of the Minister of Health, stunting remains a national priority that must be addressed collaboratively to achieve the targeted reduction of stunting prevalence to 14% by 2029.

Meanwhile, Prof. Hardinsyah highlighted that after eight weeks of implementing the GAS KIPAS Stunting program across nine Posyandu in Bogor, positive progress has been observed. Notably, key indicators such as the height of infants under two years and the upper-arm circumference of breastfeeding and pregnant mothers have shown encouraging improvements.
