Banjarbaru – The Provincial Board of the Indonesian Employers Association (DPP APINDO) South Kalimantan paid a courtesy visit to one of its member companies, PT Pamapersada Nusantara, Banjarbaru Support Office (BBSO). The visit, held on Thursday, September 25, 2025, in Banjarbaru, was attended by DPP APINDO Chairperson Winardi Sethiono, accompanied by Secretary Abdul Haris Makkie, Vice Chairpersons IBG Dharma Putra and Noorhalis Majid, as well as Board Member Erni. They were warmly welcomed by the PT Pamapersada Nusantara BBSO management team.
“This visit aims to strengthen relationships and foster collaboration among APINDO members. PT Pamapersada is one of our long-standing members and has actively contributed to supporting APINDO’s programs,” said Winardi Sethiono.
During an informal dialogue held in PT Pamapersada’s meeting room, APINDO encouraged the company to continue empowering micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and to champion the development of a green economy. “The mining sector and other extractive industries will eventually be depleted. Therefore, early initiatives to promote a green economy are crucial, focusing on sustainable growth, low-carbon development, resource efficiency, and social equity. This will help improve collective welfare while minimizing negative impacts on the environment,” Winardi emphasized.
Representing BBSO Head Arif Cahyadi, PT Pamapersada’s representative Prihardi presented various training and MSME strengthening programs initiated by the Banjarbaru Support Office. These include supporting MSME activities related to the green economy, such as maggot cultivation, which contributes to environmental restoration while improving the livelihoods of local farmers.
“We fully support APINDO South Kalimantan’s initiative and invitation for collaboration, as sustainable economic development is also one of our key priorities,” said Prihardi, while elaborating on several environmental preservation activities carried out by PT Pamapersada.
The meeting also explored potential collaboration opportunities between APINDO and PT Pamapersada to help create new jobs and expand the business climate in South Kalimantan.
“We continue to strengthen communication with APINDO members to consolidate APINDO’s overall potential, so that its presence and contributions can significantly advance the local economy and deliver real benefits to the region and its people,” added Abdul Haris Makkie, Secretary of DPP APINDO South Kalimantan.
