I Gede Budi Artana Elected to Lead APINDO Way Kanan

WAY KANAN, Lampung – I Gede Budi Artana was unanimously elected Chairman of the Way Kanan Regency Leadership Council (DPK) of the Indonesian Employers Association (APINDO) at the Regency Conference (Muskab) held at the Grand Livira Hotel in Baradatu on Friday, May 15, 2026.
Carrying the visionary theme “Building a Healthy Business Climate and Creating Employment Opportunities toward a More Advanced Way Kanan,” the forum marked an important moment in strengthening the economic sector in Bumi Ramik Ragom.
Following his election, I Gede Budi Artana expressed his appreciation for the trust placed in him. He pledged to embrace all elements of the business community in Way Kanan to maximize the region’s economic potential.
“I will do my utmost to bring together and embrace businesspeople across Way Kanan. We want the organization to move forward progressively. Way Kanan has tremendous potential, and I am confident that APINDO can play a much stronger role than before,” Gede Budi said.
He also emphasized APINDO’s role as a strategic partner of the government.
“Our hope is that APINDO can continue to work in synergy with the Way Kanan Regency Government to build a sustainable business ecosystem,” he said.
Head of the Way Kanan Manpower and Transmigration Office, Ropiki, said the regional government was ready to collaborate. He stressed that synchronization between business actors and policymakers is key to achieving the Way Kanan Sikop vision.
“APINDO is an integral part of the regional government’s efforts to advance Way Kanan. There is significant potential that we need to explore and develop together through collaboration. On behalf of the Way Kanan Regency Government, we congratulate Mr. I Gede Budi Artana. We are ready to help strengthen this synchronization,” Ropiki said.
Deputy Treasurer of APINDO Lampung DPP, Junaedi, expressed his pride in the outcome of the Muskab. He encouraged the newly elected chairman to immediately take strategic organizational steps.
“We hope the formateur team can promptly establish a solid management structure so that the organization can move quickly. Hopefully, this momentum will bring significant progress to the business community in Lampung, particularly in Way Kanan,” Junaedi said.
