Politeknik Ketenagakerjaan and APINDO Jakarta Sign MoU Extension

JAKARTA — Politeknik Ketenagakerjaan officially renewed its partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Jakarta Regional Board of the Indonesian Employers Association (APINDO Jakarta) on April 28, 2026.

 

The agreement was signed by Acting Director of Politeknik Ketenagakerjaan, Prof. Dr. Yoki Yulizar, M.Sc., and Chair of APINDO Jakarta, Dr. H. Solihin, as a shared commitment to strengthening synergy between the education sector and industry.

 

The collaboration aims to enhance the quality of human resources by developing highly skilled and job-ready graduates through a range of collaborative programs. These include strengthening industry-based curricula, implementing internship programs, improving student competencies, and expanding employment opportunities for graduates.

 

In his remarks, the Acting Director of Politeknik Ketenagakerjaan stated that the partnership represents a strategic step toward addressing the evolving challenges of the labor market.

 

“This synergy is expected to produce graduates who are adaptive, competent, and aligned with industry needs,” he said.

 

Meanwhile, APINDO Jakarta Chair Dr. H. Solihin expressed appreciation for the initiative and emphasized the importance of closer cooperation between educational institutions and the business sector.

 

“We warmly welcome this collaboration as a concrete step toward bridging the gap between education and industry. Through this partnership, we hope to contribute to improving the quality of a workforce that is job-ready, competent, and competitive at both national and global levels,” he stated.

 

Through the signing of this renewed MoU, Politeknik Ketenagakerjaan further reaffirmed its role as a vocational education institution that is responsive to industry demands and committed to producing professional and highly competitive graduates.
